David has almost 20 years experience as a legal advisor to Australian businesses. His goal is to secure the legal health of your business by providing education, clear advice and plain English documents. David believes prevention is better than cure. He speaks to business groups about business law essentials and developed our Business Law Health Check to make it simpler for businesses to identify opportunities and legal risks.
David started his legal career in a leading national law firm and has worked in-house at one of the world’s leading financial services institutions. He has an enviable breadth and depth of knowledge about business law, and has undertaken post-graduate studies in insolvency. David is also experienced in dealing with commercial disputes, and has acted for clients in many Victorian and Federal Courts and Tribunals. He has also dealt with regulatory issues involving the ATO, ASIC, ACCC and TEQSA.
David works mainly with SMEs and family businesses. He has developed particular knowledge in relation to the financial services industry, tertiary education sector, health service providers and commercial construction, and has a special interests in consumer law and product liability.
David offers clear, practical advice and is there for you when you need him. He believes that what matters most, is you.
